Italian motorcycle manufacturer Moto Guzzi has fully revealed the new V100 Mandello at the EICMA 2021 in Milan. The V100 Mandello comes with a host of technology features and a litre-class engine. The nomenclature that Moto Guzzi follows usually includes the engine’s capacity in tens in the bike’s name. However, the 100 in the name also signifies Moto Guzzi’s 100 years of history. The name Mandello also offers tribute to Moto Guzzi’s headquarters at Mandello del Lario.
Moto Guzzi is offering a host of changes to the V100 Mandello in both the mechanical department as well as cosmetics. Currently, the brand has not revealed the pricing for the motorcycle. But the V100 Mandello is likely to compete with the BMW’s F900XR and Yamaha Tracer 900.
Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello – Technical Specifications
Powering the V100 Manddello Sports Tourer is a 1,042cc liquid-cooled engine. The engine produces 115 Bhp of power and 105 Nm of torque. The engine replaces the V85TT’s air-cooled unit that had more engine displacement and measured 104mm more in terms of length. However, the new engine is much more compact and comes with a four-valve DOHC head spun 90 degrees.

The V100 Mandello also comes with selectable riding settings including four riding modes. These include ‘travel’, ‘rain’, ‘sport’, and ‘road.’ The bike also comes with four traction control settings, three engine maps and three engine braking settings. Moto Guzzi also offers the higher-spec V100 Mandello with Ohlins Smart EC 2.0 semi-active suspension. The suspension automatically adapts to the riding style and road surface. The bike also comes with a quick-shifter, heated grips and multimedia control via the 5 inch TFT dash. The V100 Mandello also comes with active aerodynamics. The bike gets an electronically adjustable windshield that helps with the airflow. Along with this, the motorcycle is also equipped with side-mounted air deflectors on the shoulders of its 17.5-litre fuel tank. The motorcycle also comes with a cornering headlight function.
