Yamaha has announced two new colour schemes for the YZF-R15 V4 in the Indonesian market. These include – Tech Black and Icon Performance. The colourways come in two more colours – Icon Blue and the WGP 60th Livery edition. The brand also retails the new YZF-R15 V4 in India with three colour options. These include Metallic Red, Dark Knight, and Racing Blue. The R15 V4 also comes with the limited edition Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition livery for racing enthusiasts. In the Indonesian market, the Yamaha R15 V4 comes with the new ‘Icon Performance’ colour theme. This colour theme features silver body panels with blue highlights. The motorcycle also comes with blue-coloured rims, a blue trapezoid graphic on the front cowl, and blue graphics with R15 lettering. The new ‘Tech Black’ colour theme features an all matte-black finish for the bike and comes with black-coloured rims for a stealthy look. The new colour themes in Indonesia also feature a WGP 60th anniversary liver with a Red and White combination, Gold rims and Yellow number patch. The new R15 V4 also features new aerodynamics with improved CdA of 0.293. Compared to the predecessor which had the CdA of 0.307.

Powering the Yamaha R15 V4 is the brand’s venerable 155cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine. The engine features Variable Valve Actuation and electronic fuel injection. The lightweight and compact motor produces 18.4 PS of power and 14.2 Nm of torque. The engine comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox with assist and slipper clutch along with a quick-shifter.
