Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Yamaha has introduced a new Metallic Black colour option for the new Aerox 155 Scooter. Yamaha has announced that the scooter will come with a price tag of INR 1.29 lakh ex-showroom. The Aerox 155 recently made its debut in the Indian market in two colours options – Vermilion Grey and Racing Blue. Both these colour options also come with a price tag of INR 1.29 lakh ex-showroom. In addition to this, the brand also offers the maxi-scooter in a limited edition Yamaha Monster MotoGP limited edition. The special edition livery comes with a price tag of INR 1.30 lakh ex-showroom.
Yamaha Aerox 155 – New Colour and Design Highlights
The new Yamaha Aerox 155 features an imposing front apron for the motorcycle and a sleek tail section. The brand offers the motorcycle in a new Metallic Black shade which contrasts well with the white surfaces of the motorcycle. These consist of the front fender and the seat underside. The underside panel also features an AEROX graphic in black. However, the new design on the new Aerox 155 Metallic Black remains the same.
Yamaha Aerox 155 – Technical Specifications & Features
The Aerox 155 also remains mechanically unchanged. Powering the Yamaha Aerox 155 is a 155cc single-cylinder Yamaha YZF-R15-derived motor. The liquid-cooled engine comes with VVA (Variable Valve Actuation) technology and an integrated starter generator. The engine produces 15 PS of power and 13.9 Nm of torque and pairs with a CVT automatic gearbox. The Aerox rides on the telescopic front suspension and dual shocks on the rear. Yamaha also offers a front disc and rear drum setup.
The Yamaha Aerox also features a 24.5-litre under-seat storage area able to accommodate a full-size helmet and other oddities. The brand also offers the scooter with a full LCD 5.8-inch instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. The maxi-scooter also comes with LED headlamps, LED DRLs and LED taillamps.
