The brand has recorded that the electric vehicle manufacturer has nearly 36 per cent of the market share. The brand revealed that there is more than 4 lakh Hero Electric vehicles on Indian streets. Looking at the rise in the demand for electric vehicles in India, Hero Electric is currently the market leader. The brand reveals that the demand is not just limited to metro cities, but also tier-2 and tier-3 cities are drawing demand for electric vehicles. The brand’s 700 sales and service outlets are also helping Hero Electric cater to the demand for green mobility bikes.
Hero Electric Sales Target
The electric two-wheeler manufacturer claims that the company is expanding its business to a new height. The brand is perfectly leveraging demand and also converting it into sales. The brand also recorded sales of over 65,000 electric scooters this year. The long term target for the brand is to achieve a 1 million sales figure by the year 2025.
Currently, the charging infrastructure consists of 2,000 charging stations. The company aims to expand the charging ecosystem to 20,000 stations in the near future. Also, charging infrastructure is still very slim, however, the situation is getting better with the demand for electric vehicles in India. Other electric vehicle manufacturers are also setting up their charging infrastructure. This will collectively lead to the expansion of e-mobility infrastructure in the country.
