Benelli is planning to add another motorcycle to the TRK family in just about a few days from now. However, the brand has been working on this new Benelli TRK for quite some time. While all the work was going on behind closed curtains, the Italian brand has finally revealed that the new Benelli TRK 800 will make its debut at the EICMA 2021 on 23rd November 2021. Benelli also released a teaser of the new motorcycle which gives us a glimpse of what we get to see in the near future. While the brand does not reveal much in the teaser video, the keen-eyed would be able to decode a few details from the initial designs of the motorcycle.
Benelli TRK 800 – The Teaser
According to the teaser video, the new Benelli TRK 800 will come with a sharp front end but also gets a typical adventure nose. The motorcycle will feature a chiselled beak and side cowlings integrating the front turn indicators. The motorcycle sports an upright stance with a tall touring style windscreen and a muscular fuel tank. The design renderings in the teaser video also reveal a step-up split seat and a sleek tail.
The pillion rider will get stout grabrails to hold onto and also integrate a top box mount. The motorcycle also gets side luggage mounts integrated with the top rack. The teaser also reveals that the TRK 800 would come in shades of Red, Blue and Silver. However, the combination is still unknown. The brand is also likely to offer an extensive electronics package with the new Benelli TRK 800.
Benelli TRK 800 – Technical Specifications
Currently, the brand has not revealed the technical specification of the motorcycle. But we believe that the Benelli could use a 754cc parallel twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine from the Leoncino 800. The DOHC four-valve engine produces around 76.8 PS of power and 67 Nm of torque and comes with a 6-speed transmission. The Benelli TRK 800 is also likely to come with long travel upside-down suspension on the front and an adjustable monoshock on the rear.
