Ducati has launched the new limited-edition Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse priced at INR 10,99,000 ex-showroom. The Italian brand is commemorating the collaboration between its Scrambler series and the American clothing brand, Fasthouse, through the new limited-edition motorcycle in the Indian market. 2021 Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse – Design Highlights
The new Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse features a new black and grey colour theme. This theme also combines with geometric livery on the fuel tank along with Scrambler and Fasthouse logos. The brand aims to reproduce the design used on bikes that competed in the Mint 400. Ducati also revealed that the new edition will be limited to just 800 units.
The bike will also feature an aluminium plate on the frame showcasing a unique serial number. The bike will also feature a new seat with an anti-slip cover. The colour combination also comes with a ‘Ducati Red’ trellis frame. The brand also offers the Scrambler Desert Sled with 19-inch black spoked wheels on the front and 17-inch rims on the rear. The bike also comes with a high mount front mudguard and an extended rear fender. The Desert Sled also features a high plate holder and a variable cross-section handlebar.
2021 Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse – Technical Specifications
The new Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled comes with an 803cc, L-twin-cylinder engine. The engine produces 73 PS of power and 66.2 Nm of torque and comes with a 6-speed transmission. The bike boasts all the elements of the Ducati ‘Land of Joy’ Desert Sled models as well. In the ergonomics department, Ducati offers the Desert Sled with a customizable riding position. The motorcycle also comes with a commanding seat height of 860mm and an adjustable Kayaba suspension. The brand also offers Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres to enhance its off-roading performance.
Suspension duties are handled by 46mm fully-adjustable forks on the front, a rear aluminium double-sided swingarm with a monoshock suspension. The suspension offers 200mm of wheel travel improving the bikes off-road capabilities. Ducati offers the motorcycle with a 330mm front brake disc equipped with a 4-piston radial calliper, and Bosch Cornering ABS as standard. The bike also gets a 245mm brake disc with a 1-piston floating calliper on the rear and Bosch Cornering ABS as standard.
