Kawasaki Launched All-New Z650RS

Kawasaki has launched the all-new Retrvolution in the Indian market. The new motorcycle is the Kawasaki Z650RS which draws inspiration from the 1977 Z650-B1. The retro-design is also similar to the Kawasaki Z900RS. The new Kawasaki Z650RS will target the young-generation riders integrated with clever Z references and a modern-classic look. Kawasaki will retail the new Z650RS at the price of INR 6,65,000 ex-showroom. In comparison, the Z650 and Ninja 650 are “~INR 41,000 and ~INR 4,000 more than the Z650RS. To put things into perspective, the Triumph Trident comes with a sticker price of ~INR 6.95 lakh ex-showroom. Kawasaki will sell the bike through its online and offline sales channels in the Indian market. The brand will begin deliveries on the Z650RS in India from late November and Early December 2021.

Kawasaki Z650RS – Design and Features

The Kawasaki Z650RS comes with a rounded headlamp with LED technology. The bike also comes with a retro elongated fuel tank and bench seats with contrast stitching. The bike also features a sleek tail section and a boomerang style swingarm. The Z650RS also comes with chopped front and rear fenders as well multispoke alloy wheels that appear like spoke wheels from the side. The motorcycle also comes with a black finish engine and satin silver mid-ship exhaust. Kawasaki also offers the motorcycle with Artillery shell-style instruments cluster. The bike comes with a semi-digital instruments cluster. Kawasaki will be offering the bike with Candy Emerald Green colour with golden finish wheels and Metallic Moondust Gray shade gets black alloy wheels.

Kawasaki Z650RS – Technical Specifications

The Kawasaki Z650RS comes with a 649cc parallel-twin engine. The liquid-cooled engine produces 68 HP of power and 64 Nm of torque. The engine comes with a 6-speed gearbox tweaked the engine to make it more responsive at low and mid-range. The bike also comes with 41mm telescopic forks on the front and preload-adjustable mono-shock on the rear.
