Ducati has unveiled the new Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak edition in the international market. The Italian brand unveiled the motorcycle at the third episode of the Ducati World Premiere 2022. The Multistrada V4 is Ducati one of the most popular models in the portfolio and the brand will sell the bike in multiple markets. In combination with the Granturismo engine, the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak will offer performance, handling, comfort and reliability. The new Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak edition also takes the sportiness level to the next level. Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak – Design and Features
The new Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak comes with a special “Pikes Peak” livery. The colour theme draws inspiration from the Desmosedici GP ’21. But the brand does not only offer cosmetic enhancements but also mechanical ones. The Pikes Peak edition comes with a 17-inch front wheel and a single-sided swingarm. The motorcycle also comes with a number of carbon-fibre components and an Akrapovic titanium exhaust. Other elements include anodized gold Ohlins front forks, and a two-tone Black and Red rear saddle. The Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak edition also gets electronic features such as a 6.5-inch TFT LCD instruments cluster, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Blind Spot Detection (BSD). Features include Ducati Wheelie Control, ABS Cornering, Riding and Power Modes, Vehicle Hold Control, DRLs, Ducati’s Cornering Light and more.
Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak – Technical Specification
Powering the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak is a 1160cc V4 Granturismo engine. The engine produces 170 PS of power and 125 Nm of torque. The lightweight and compact engine weighs only 66.7 Kg and comes with a 6-speed gearbox offering the best-in-class power and torque figures. Ducati also employs a new chassis for the bike which is 2.7 Kg lighter. The bike also comes with new Marchesini forged aluminium rims. The new changes allow the new Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak to be lighter by 4 Kg than the Multistrada V4 S. Ducati also employs the new Ohlins Smart EC 2.0 suspension features a 48mm adjustable front fork and a 36mm adjustable monoshock swingarm.
