Zontes Could Launch 310X Adventure Bike in India

The Adventure Touring segment has gained quite a bit of popularity all over the world. The segment is currently booming in the Indian market and new manufacturers are also trying to contend in the space. Now a Chinese manufacturer, Zontes could be planning to launch a new adventure motorcycle in the Indian market. The brand is likely to introduce the new motorcycle in the middle-weight segment. The ADV we are talking about is the Zontes 310X adventure bike. The brand is currently testing the Zontes 310X in India, under heavy camouflage. This leads us to believe that the Zontes 310X will soon be launched in India soon.

Zontes 310X – Design & Styling

The Zontes 310X comes with a grand touring design and style. The Zontes 310X features an upright front fascia and sharp design language. The motorcycle comes with a chiselled fuel tank and muscular side panels. The bike also features a sharp tail section and an upswept double-barrel exhaust. The bike also comes with a scooped seat and upright handlebar. The motorcycle also comes with relaxed footpegs to allow the rider to tour long distances on the highways with ease. The bike will also feature an adjustable windscreen and twin split LED headlamps and sharp DRLs. The motorcycle will also come with digital instruments cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, tyre pressure monitoring, etc.

Zontes 310X – Powertrain

Powering the Zontes 310X is a 312 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. The engine produces 34PS and 35 Nm. The brand also offers an engine with two riding modes – Economy and Sports. The motorcycle also comes with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike rides on an upside front fork and a monoshock on the rear. Stopping power comes from disc brakes on both ends. The Zontes 310X motorcycle will compete with the KTM 390 Adventure, BMW G 310 GS and the likes in the adventure segment.
