Yamaha recently launched the Aerox 155 maxi-scooter in the Indian market. The brand also introduced the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP edition in the Indian market along with the standard models. The brand has now introduced a new World MotoGP 60th Anniversary Edition in the international market. The new special edition model comes with a special livery, white paint theme, red front fender, and Speed Block patterns. The scooter also gets yellow-coloured front cowling for a race number and a red front fender matching with the theme.

The new maxi-scooter comes with the same ‘X’ Centre Motif sporting an athletic look. The brand boasts that the Aerox 155 comes with sporty yet comfortable ergonomics. The maxi-scooter comes with a tapering handlebar and sporty footboard, offering a spirited riding experience. The Aerox 155 can also tackle speed bumps and rough roads thanks to the 145mm high ground clearance. Yamaha offers the Aerox 155 with LED headlamps and taillamps, as well as a full LCD 5.8-inch instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. The Aerox 155 also comes with USB charging and an external fuel filler cap for convenience. The scooter also gets 24.5-litres of under-seat storage, which is capable of accommodating an XL size helmet along with other oddities.

Powering the Yamaha Aerox 155 is Yamaha’s venerable 155cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with VVA (Variable Valve Actuation). The engine produces 15 PS of power and 13.9 Nm of torque. The scooter also gets an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) as well as a CVT automatic transmission. The maxi-scooter comes with telescopic suspension on the front and dual shock absorbers on the rear. The motorcycle also gets disc brakes with ABS for safety.
Yamaha Aerox 155 in India
In the Indian market, Yamaha retails the Aerox 155 with a price tag starting at INR 129,000 ex-showroom. The Aerox 155 Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP limited edition comes at the price of INR 130,500 ex-showroom. It is unlikely that Yamaha will bring the Aerox 155 World MotoGP 60th Anniversary Edition to India.
