WardWizard Innovations and Mobility Ltd, operating its electric vehicle vertical under the name Joy e-bike, have announced that the brand is ramping up its production capacity in the Indian market. Joy e-Bike has revealed that the brand will be setting up an automatic assembly line. Joy e-bike will set up the new assembly line at its Vadodara production facility to increase its production capacity. The move will enable the brand to increase the production capacity by two folds in the manufacturing unit. Furthermore, the brand reveals that the new assembly line will be fully operational from October 2021. Therefore, Joy e-bike can upgrade the annual production capacity of 2 lakh units to 6 lakh units depending on shifts and the market demand.
Joy e-bike Market Reach
Joy e-Bike will not limit itself by increasing the production capacity. But the brand will also improve its market reach in India. The brand currently has 400 dealerships across Tier 1, 2, and 3 cities in the Indian market. Joy e-bike plans to expand its footprint to more than 750 dealerships by the end of the year. The brand has also achieved its highest monthly sales figure of 2000 units in August 2021. In the same month, the brand also registered orders for more than 5000 units. The brand also expects to boost its sales further during the festive season and is “optimistic about achieving record-breaking numbers.”
The company also aims to expand its footprint of 25 major cities in India. This will help provide an alternative for traditional ICE bikes and help accelerate the EV adoption initiative. Joy e-bike (WardWizard Innovations and Mobility Ltd, is the first listed entity on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) in EV manufacturing. The brand’s primary focus is to provide cleaner and greener mobility solutions to the citizens of India.
