Iconic British brand Triumph has launched the new 2021 Triumph Speed Twin 1200 in the Indian market. The new motorcycle comes with a starting price tag of INR 10.99 lakh ex-showroom. The brand position the Speed Twin 1200 in the modern-classic portfolio and offers the bike in three colour options. The Speed Twin 1200 will come in the Jet Black, Red Hopper and Matt Storm Grey colours.
Triumph Speed Twin 1200 – Design Highlights
The Speed Twin 1200 comes with a classic roadster design that features a rounded headlamp and an elongated fuel tank with prominent knee recesses. The bike also comes with minimalist front and rear fenders, bench-style seats, tapering handlebar and bar-end mirrors. The motor is painted black and comes accented by a machine finish on the head and brushed stainless steel two into two exhaust systems with twin end pipes.

The Triumph Speed Twin 1200 comes with features such as a twin-pod instruments cluster with an analogue tachometer and speedometer. The instruments cluster also features a digital multi-information display. The bike comes with classic diamond-quilted seats and alloy wheels. Also on offer is a range of accessories that allows the buyer to customise their machine.

Powering the Triumph Speed Twin 1200 is a 1200cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine with a 270-degree crank angle. The 8-valve SOHC engine produces 100 PS of power and 112 Nm of torque. The motor comes with a 6-speed transmission with a wet, multi-plate torque-assist clutch. The motorcycle rides on 43mm USD Marzocchi forks on the front and twin shock absorbers on the rear. The bike also comes with 320mm discs with Brembo M50 4-piston radial monobloc callipers. The rear features a 220mm disc Nissin 2-piston floating calliper. The Triumph Speed Twin also comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, a 1,413 mm wheelbase, 809 mm of seat height, 14.5-litres of fuel tank capacity and tips the scales at 216 kg at the kerb.
