Yamaha India has revealed the brand’s latest 2022 FZS-Fi under the company’s ‘The Call of the Blue’ initiative. The new Yamaha FZS-Fi comes with refreshed styling updates and features along with a new variant. The new FZS-Fi Dlx will be available from the 2nd week of January 2022, revealed Yamaha. The brand also reveals that both motorcycle versions retain the same design proportion from the 3rd generation FZ-Fi series.
2022 Yamaha FZS-Fi – Price and Design Highlights
Yamaha offers the standard FZ-S Fi variant with two new colour options – Matte Red and Matte Blue. The brand has priced the Dlx variant at INR 1,18,900 ex-showroom and FI at INR 1,15,900 ex-showroom. The bike also comes with a dual-tone seat option for the Dlx variant. The version is only available in Metallic Black and Metallic Deep Red colours. The Japanese brand also equips the standard 2022 Yamaha FZS-Fi with brand new LED taillights. The Dlx variant also comes with LED flashers. The Dlx variant comes in three new colours – Metallic Black, Metallic Deep Red, and Solid Gray. The Dlx variant also comes with brand new graphics, coloured alloy wheels, and a two-level single seat with dual-tone colours.
2022 Yamaha FZS-Fi – Technical Specifications and Features
Powering both variants of the FZS-Fi is a 149cc, air-cooled engine. The engine produces 12.4 PS of power and 13.3 Nm of torque. The motor comes paired to a constant mesh, 5-speed manual gearbox, and an electric starter. The bike features a telescopic front suspension and a 7-step adjustable monocross rear suspension. The brand also offers 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends, the bikes sport a 790mm seat height and 165mm of ground clearance.
