Honda has pulled the covers off the new Rebel range which includes the CMX1100 Rebel, and CMX500 Rebel. Alongside this, the brand has also unveiled the brand’s flagship GL1800 Gold Wing series. For 2022 both the Rebel series and the Gold Wing series come in new colours. The brand is also making some other mechanical changes on the Gold Wing and also tweaked the trim options. The brand has also made changes to the colour line of the Rebel series but has no significant mechanical change.
CMX500 Rebel and CMX1100 Rebel – New Colours
The Honda CMXC500 Rebel has been one of Honda’s best-selling products on the European market. The brand offers the bike with a laid-back, fat-tyred look. The Rebel 500 comes with slim dimensions and a low seat height that particularly attract female customers. In fact, nearly 33 per cent of the owners of this motorcycle are women. Honda also offers a Rebel S version that comes with a factory fitted headlight cowl, all-black fork covers with rubber boots and quilted seat upholstery. For 2022, Honda is also introducing a new Pearl Organic Green colour. Honda revealed that the CMX1100 Rebel will come with Pearl Stallion Brown colour along with Gunmetal Black Metallic.
Honda GL1800 Gold Wing Tour and GL1800 Gold Wing – New Colour and Changes
The manual transmission variant of the Honda GL1800 Gold Wing Tour will now come with a new Gunmetal Black Metallic colour as an option. Furthermore, the colour option will come with a ‘blacked out’ engine further enhancing the look of the vehicle. The DCT/Airbag variant of the Gold Wing will come with a new Pearl Glare White and Glint Wave Blue Metallic paint options. Also, the brand will include a Gunmetal Metallic colour shade on the Gold Wing.
The Honda GL1800 Gold Wing also features some mechanical changes for 2022. The new GL1800 Gold Wing is now more lighter thanks to the double-wishbone front suspension and the flat six-cylinder engine. Th bike features a 7-inch TFT screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, gyrocompass navigation, electric windscreen, Smart Key operation, HSTC (Tractions Control), Hill Start Assist and four riding modes.
