Honda has launched the new CB300R, a Neo-Sports Café motorcycle in the Indian market. The BS6 compliant Honda CB300R was unveiled at the 2021 India Bike Week. Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has equipped a BS6-compliant engine for the CB300R. Honda announced that the new CB300R comes with a sticker price of INR 2.77 lakh ex-showroom. Honda also revealed that the bookings for the new CB300R are now open. Honda will showcase and sell the new bike via their premium BigWing & BigWing Topline dealerships across India.

The Neo-Sports Café motorcycle showcases Japanese craftsmanship via its overall styling. The motorcycle offers a retro look with a modern twist. The new CB300R features a rounded LED headlamp, golden front forks, wide handlebars, and black-plastic elements. In addition to this, the motorcycle also gets a chiselled fuel tank, black alloy wheels, and a newly designed muffler with a copper finish. The brand revealed that the CB300R will come with two colour options – Pearl Spartan Red and Matte Steel Black along with an upswept exhaust. Other details also include an ergonomic seat an LED taillight and LED turn indicators.
2022 Honda CB300R – Technical Specifications
Powering the 2022 Honda CB300R is a 286cc, liquid-cooled, four-stroke engine. The engine develops 30.7 PS of power and 27.5 Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a 6-speed transmission with a multi-plate wet clutch. The CB300R rides on a Diamond type frame and 41mm, inverted front forks, and a 7-step adjustable rear monoshock. The bike comes with a seat height of 801mm and a ground clearance of 157mm. The bike gets a 9.7-litre fuel tank. Honda offers 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends and braking power comes from a single 296mm front brake disc and a 220mm rear brake disc. The CB300R also features an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and Dual Channel ABS for improved braking performance. The bike also comes with an LCD Multi-Function display with a Gear Position Indicator.
