Electric mobility solutions company, Enigma Electric has commenced accepting booking for a new electric bike in India. The new electric motorcycle will make its official debut soon in the Indian market and the brand will then reveal its price. Reportedly, the new electric motorcycle will be produced locally, and come with 100% localisation. This will enable the brand to enjoy all the incentive benefits under the FAME II subsidy. The 100% localised e-motorcycle will help accelerate electric mobility in India coinciding with the government’s plan. Enigma Electric is likely to introduce the new electric motorcycle during Diwali which will help the brand boost sales, leveraging the festive season. The brand will sell the bike through the official website and through physical retail channels. Enigma already sells its electric scooter bikes through its dedicated website in India.
Enigma Electric Motorcycle – Design and Features
The new Enigma electric motorcycle will come with a neo-retro cafe racer styling. The motorcycle comes with a rounded headlight and a teardrop fuel tank. The Enigma electric motorcycle also gets clip-on style handlebars and mildly rear-set footpegs. The electric bike features a bench-style seat with a hump on the rear and pleated upholstery. The motorcycle also comes with black panels that cover the battery pack. The electric bike also comes with spoke wire rims and wide rubber tyres. Apart from this, the electric bike is also likely to come with a digital instruments cluster.
Enigma Electric Motorcycle – Powertrain
The Enigma Electric motorcycle will come with a 5.6 kW electric motor. The electric motor is coupled to a 72V 50 Ah LifePo4 Lithium Ferrous Phosphate battery pack. The powertrain can propel the motorcycle to a top speed of 136 kmph. Also, the brand claims that the bike will return a range of 140km on a single charge. The electric motorcycle boasts to keep up with ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) powered two-wheelers. The battery can also recharge in 0-80 per cent in just about three hours and 100% in four hours.
